Designed to help children who struggle to switch off at night. Backed by clinical research and tested by NHS sleep specialists.
Powered by our patented Active-Feedback™ technology and validated in clinical trials, the Trigger delivers dynamic vibration cues your child responds to. This creates a calming distraction that helps their mind switch off so they can wind down and fall asleep naturally, at bedtime or after waking in the night.
Placed by your child’s bed, the Hub monitors their environment during sleep, including light, noise, temperature and air quality, helping identify factors that may be affecting their sleep so you can better support them.
Brings together your child’s data from the Trigger, Hub and sleep diary to show clear, easy-to-understand insights, using sleep science to help you spot patterns and better understand what affects their sleep.
Securely share your child’s device and app data with registered sleep professionals through the SleepCogni platform, enabling more informed 1-to-1 support to help you better understand and support your child’s sleep.

The NHS has partnered with SleepCogni to support sleep management for children and young people
Sheffield Children’s Sleep Services, the UK’s largest paediatric sleep service, is working with SleepCogni to support sleep management for children and young people with complex needs, many of whom experience mental health difficulties and neurodivergent conditions.
Clinically validated technology
SleepCogni was tested in a randomised, sham-controlled placebo device clinical study that was peer-reviewed and published in Frontiers in Sleep.
The trial involved 80 adults with chronic insomnia and demonstrated rapid and statistically significant improvements on validated sleep measures, including the Insomnia Severity Index and total sleep time, compared with the placebo sham device.
SleepCogni is a non-medical wellbeing device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure sleep disorders.

SleepCogni has been tested in a randomised, sham-controlled clinical trial that was peer-reviewed and published in Frontiers in Sleep. The study involved 80 adults with chronic insomnia and demonstrated statistically significant improvements in validated sleep measures after just seven nights of use.
The technology has also been used in collaboration with NHS sleep specialist services. Sheffield Children’s Sleep Services, the UK’s largest paediatric sleep service, is working with SleepCogni to support sleep management for children and young people with complex needs, including those experiencing mental health and neurodivergent conditions.
SleepCogni is built around sleep science and unique technology embedded within the SleepCogni ecosystem.
It combines a clinically tested sleep wellness device for immediate support with data insights and tools that enable 1-to-1 guidance from a registered sleep therapist. This integrated approach helps families better understand and manage their child’s sleep over time, rather than relying on medication, passive tracking, or one-off solutions.
SleepCogni includes three main components that work together:
Trigger – a handheld device that delivers SleepCogni’s patented Active-Feedback™ programme to help quiet a busy mind and guide the transition into sleep.
Hub – a bedside device that monitors environmental factors such as light, noise, temperature and air quality, and provides gentle light and sound support for sleep routines.
App – brings together sleep diary information, device usage and environmental data to provide insights into sleep patterns.
SleepCogni also allows data to be shared with registered sleep professionals. Families can connect with qualified clinicians through SleepCogni’s sleep professional marketplace if they wish to receive additional support.
SleepCogni helps users actively reduce mental arousal at bedtime by giving the mind a simple task to focus on. This can help reset their relationship with sleep and improve sleep over time.
However, as sleep difficulties can return from time to time, SleepCogni is designed for flexible, on-demand use. Children and families can use it whenever sleep becomes difficult again, helping them regain control and return to a healthy sleep routine.
SleepCogni has been tested with neurodiverse children, including those with ADHD and autism, through NHS children’s sleep specialist services.
